The part number is the most important element

An industrial part can't be ordered without an exact part number. It should appear clearly next to the image. If it follows an international standard (DIN, ISO, ANSI), state that too.

• Material and alloy
• Pressure or load rating
• Manufacturing standard
• Coating or plating type

A drawing beats a photo

For many parts, a simple dimensional drawing is more useful than a photograph. Including both is ideal.

Comparison tables

Industrial parts usually come in several sizes. A single table listing every size with its code and dimensions is far more practical than a page per size.

Language

If you export, an English version is essential. Translate technical terms carefully — a mistranslated technical term can lead to a wrong order.
